Seadamp is the solution developed by Seares to absorb the energy generated by swell, wash and water movement, reducing dynamic peak loads and stress on mooring lines. This means greater protection for infrastructure, vessels and equipment, while also improving onboard comfort.
For us, the Monaco project is also an important technological milestone. Seadamp is not only an advanced hydraulic damping system, but also a platform that can support a more evolved berth management model through continuous monitoring, data collection and predictive insight.
When integrated with sensors, the system can measure loads on mooring lines in real time, generate automatic alerts and build a data layer that helps optimise marina operations. In this way, safety and control become part of the same technology ecosystem.
