The 59th edition of the Genoa Boat Show was very succesful, in addition to the great interest shown our products by the show’s public, we are proud to announce that we are the winners of two important awards for the Made in Italy innovation sector.
ADI AWARD
ADI – Association for Industrial Design and IBI – International Boating Industry honored us with a special mention for having developed a product capable of performing a traditional function and producing energy for boats and docking pontoons,:the Seadamp PLUS mooring damper with an affordable price and an excellent design.
SAIL TO THE SUNSHINE AWARD
The Sail to the sunshine award, inspired by the rebirth of Italian yachting that is finally sailing towards a bright future, is sponsored by Grosseto Municipality and assigned by Tecnoseal.
The Award is dedicated to people and companies that, in the nautical sector, have contributed to development and reinforcing the Made in Italy brand at international level and the development of initiatives related to the nautical world and the protection of the marine environment in the previous and ongoing year.
Thanks to these Awards, Seares appear in nautical and news magazines such as Press Mare, Maremma News, Tiscali News, Giornale della Vela.
SEARES
Seares was born with the aim of revolutionizing the mooring systems. Some of the numerous devices currently on the market are completely or partially inefficient, resulting in an unsafe and uncomfortable mooring for those who live on the boat.
Some traditional mooring systems inefficiencies may be excessively noisy, rapidly oxidases or corrodes, a progressive deterioration of mechanical parts that wear out the mooring lines, generating little reliability over time, both static and dynamic. All these problems are overcome by the innovative Seadamp hydraulic damper designed for boating. Thanks to a patented design and quality components, Seadamp increases the comfort for customers living on board, making the mooring silent. Due to its high corrosion resistance it can be used in and out of the water and makes mooring safe with a 3 year warranty.
INNOVATION
During 2019, Seares not only confirms its innovative product such as Seadamp STEEL, t also presents two further technological innovations. The Seadamp EVO the nautical mooring replacing old mooring springs, but Seadamp EVO, evolution of the STEEL model, designed for smaller boats in terms of dimension and weight (up to 13 tons) and the innovative Seadamp PLUS, a big step forward for Seares, allowing for on board battery charging, taking advantage of the wave motion of the sea, without using precious space on board.
Every Seares product offers innumerable advantages, such as:
